The Agency gave this assessment during its inspection of the hospital on Tuesday 9th of June, 2026, in order to determine the operational baseline of the facility.

The Director of Monitoring and Inspection who was also the team leader Dr. Daniel Olayinka, while addressing the management team of the hospital spoke well about the staff dedication to patients.

While he expressed satisfaction with the standard of healthcare service delivery in the hospital, especially with the volume of patients treated on a daily basis despite the space constraints, he also advised the staff not to rest on their oars as there is always room to go the extra mile.

In his remarks, The Deputy Medical Director-Dr. Nathaniel Olugbenga Oja who received the team on behalf of the MD, while thanking Mr. Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his giant strides towards making Lagos a hub for healthcare service delivery, promised to continue to work harder along with the management staff, in order to serve residents better.

The Deputy Director of Nursing HEFAMAA, DDNS Florence Odude together with the Director of Monitoring and Inspection along with the rest members of the team were later taken round the key operational areas of the hospital.

Some of the places inspected included: Information and Medical Records, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Dental, Catering and Radiology Departments.

Other areas inspected were: Labour Ward, Post and Neonatal Wards, Pediatrics, Male and Female Wards, Theatre as well as Accident and Emergency Wards.

Recall that HEFAMAA is a regulatory body under the Lagos State Ministry of Health tasked with accrediting, inspecting, and licensing all public and private health facilities in the state.
