According to Tinubu, the infrastructural development would play a vital role in creating opportunities which would help boost the source of livelihoods for many people in the area.

He acknowledged the economic difficulties facing Nigerians but assured that the ongoing reforms and investments in the country, would help ease the burden on citizens

Also, Tinubu reiterated the Federal Government’s commitment to strengthening security and supporting the armed forces in tackling insurgency.

In the same vein, the host Governor -Douye Diri while speaking; expressed satisfaction that the projects would open up communities, stimulate economic growth, and enhance the quality of life for the people.

Diri who highlighted the completion of the Angiama–Oporoma Bridge, stated that over 60 communities would benefit from it as it would improve access to major roads as well as lower the cost of transportation.

These projects are expected to improve daily life and boost economic activities in the state.

The inaugurated infrastructure included: a 60-megawatt gas-powered turbine and a number of major road networks which would link communities for ease of movement, reduction in travel time and support of local businesses.

Residents of Bayelsa State as well as the former President of Nigeria- Dr. Goodluck Ebere Jonathan came out in droves to support the president as he commissioned the projects.

For many residents, the projects represent renewed hope, with expectations that improved infrastructure will bring lasting development and better living conditions across the state.
