As part of its CSR initiative to improve access to clean water, Promasidor Nigeria has donated a borehole and water tower to Isolo community palace in Lagos recently.
This is in a bid to strengthen its corporate social responsibility drive .
The borehole donation was officially commissioned on Thursday, 21 May 2026, at the palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Isa Abiodun Faronbi-Shekoni, the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom.
The Monarch, HRM Oba Isa Faronbi-Shalom, his wife-Olori Tawakalitu Abike Faronbi-Shekoni, members of the royal cabinet, and senior executives of Promasidor Nigeria were present at the event.
In his speech, Chief Executive Officer of Promasidor-François Gillet said the initiative reflected the company’s commitment to supporting sustainable development in its host communities, while noting that access to clean water is essential to public health, dignity, and economic growth.
He explained hat the project aligns with global development goals on water and sanitation.
Gillet said Promasidor Nigeria believes in building long-term relationships with communities through trust, respect, and shared progress.
“We sincerely value the warmth and goodwill we have received from the Isolo community and look forward to sustaining this cordial relationship for many years to come,” he said.
In his remarks, Oba Faronbi commended the company for what he described as a meaningful intervention that would improve access to clean water within the palace and surrounding areas.
The monarch further said that the project would serve both the palace and the wider community, while praying for the continued success of the company.
According to the management of Promasidor Nigeria, “the donation forms part of its broader commitment to nourishing Nigerians through quality food products and contributing to national development through job creation and community-focused initiatives”.
