The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on Thursday, August 7, 2025, decorated two of her aides who were recently promoted in the Nigeria Police Force.
At a brief ceremony held in the Conference Room of the Office of the First Lady, State House, Abuja, Senator Tinubu decorated her Staff Officer, DCP Nonye Welle, and her Aide-de-Camp, ACP Bello Yakubu.
In one of the highlights of the event, the First Lady, assisted by the Chief Personal Security Officer (CPSO) to the President, CP Usman Musa Shugaba, decorated DCP Welle with her new rank.The event was attended by top security officers, including the CPSO to the President, who joined the newly promoted officers and the First Lady for photographs after the ceremony.
Similarly, ACP Yakubu was decorated by Senator Tinubu, with his wife, Hajia Saadatu Bello Yakubu, joining in the honour.
