The Scripture Reading which was taken from the Book of Colossians centered on how God enjoins couples to love one another, bearing with one another and forgiving one another as love is the bedrock and bond of perfection.

Consequently, the couple was later introduced to the congregation and presented with a marriage certificate after signing the dotted lines to show that they were no longer two but one in Christ Jesus.

This made the parents of the bride and groom to be filed with joy overflowing in seeing their second generation come together to form a family.

In the same vein, the best man-Ibiwoye Opeyemi and the bridesmaids-Ikeogu Onyinye and Unobuagha Makua were on ground for the couple; in order to make the day scintillating for them.

More so, Ndu Daniel, Idisi Endurance, Okonkwo Nnamdi and Adebimpe Steve- who were the grooms men; made the day worthwhile for the new couple.

Some family members who spoke with Khal-El Media on the importance of the occasion,  enjoined the newest couple in town to make God their bedrock.

Chief Emma Bishop Okonkwo while speaking with Khal-El Media expressed gratitude to God for being part of such a wonderful legacy.

According to him, “ Marriage does not have a formula, the two of them must believe in God and rely on Him alone, when the road looks abysmally bleak “, he said.

Similarly, in a media interview with Sir Okonkwo who was elated to be a witness to the marriage ceremony, he advised the couple to love each other and nurture what brought them together as husband and wife.

“ Life is infinite depending on what you make of it, so they should endeavour to make good use of life, Okonkwo added.

Mr Ifeanyichukwu Dike- a parent who spoke with Khal-El Media also advised the latest couple in town to embrace each other with love.

According to him, “it is also an opportunity for older couples like us to look inward and see if there is anything we are not getting right and do it right,” he stated.

The high point of the ceremony was the cutting of the wedding cake at the reception hall held at The Nigerian Army Officers Mess in Victoria Island, where guests were feted in a large circle with lots of food and drinks for everyone.

The latest couple danced to the delight of everyone.
