Adron Homes and Properties Limited has reaffirmed its dedication to safeguarding Nigeria’s cultural traditions through its strategic sponsorship of the 39th edition of the Lisabi Festival, one of the most revered cultural events in Egbaland.

Held under the distinguished leadership of Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, the annual festival celebrates the unity, resilience and historical legacy of the Egba people. The event pays tribute to the legendary warrior, Lisabi Agbongbo Akala, whose leadership and courage united the Egba people and secured their freedom during a defining period in their history.

By supporting the cultural celebration, Adron Homes continues to position itself not only as a leading real estate developer but also as a corporate organisation committed to promoting indigenous heritage and strengthening community ties across Nigeria.

Speaking on the significance of the festival, Oba Gbadebo noted that the Lisabi Festival remains an important platform for preserving the values, traditions and identity of the Egba people. According to the monarch, the celebration also serves to inspire younger generations to remain connected to their cultural roots.

For Adron Homes, the sponsorship reflects a deliberate alignment with the socio-cultural aspirations of Egbaland. The company said its support for the festival underscores its commitment to promoting unity, preserving cultural identity and contributing to the growth of communities where it operates.

The company also maintains a strong presence in Abeokuta through key housing developments, including Sunrise Park and Gardens in Alabata and Southgate Park and Gardens Estate in Alamala. These estates further highlight Adron Homes’ long-term investment in the socio-economic development of the region.

The 2026 edition of the Lisabi Festival, themed “Integrating Apprenticeship Training into Education: Opportunities and Challenges,” focuses on bridging tradition with modern development by exploring ways vocational training can complement formal education.

Activities lined up for the festival include the iconic Woro procession, traditional rites, arts and crafts exhibitions, educational programmes and community engagement events, all showcasing the richness of Egba culture and heritage.
