The Ministry of Information and Strategy will start the annual Y2026 “Ministerial Press Briefing” on Monday, 11th of May , 2026.
The briefing is a window for The Lagos State Executive Council members representing various Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of Government in the state, to render their accounts of stewardship, that reflect the giant strides taken by the Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s Administration in the last one year for a “Greater Lagos”.
The annual event provides an important platform for the MDAs to present to the good people of Lagos State in “Facts and Figures” the achievements of the present administration across various developmental pillars of the THEMES Plus Agenda.
It will also be an opportunity for them to engage with Lagosians on the bold efforts at improving the welfare of all.
This year’s edition is particularly significant as it precedes the general elections. The exercise will enable the public to assess the performance of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu/Obafemi Hamzat Administration, appreciate the milestones recorded.
Besides, the media engagement will further help the citizens to understand the administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability and inclusive governance.
According to The Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy- Gbenga Omotoso; the achievements of the administration remain a clear demonstration of purposeful leadership and responsible governance.
