The Chairman of the Shukuram Yam Sellers Association of Nigeria, Mile 12 Market, Kosofe in Lagos State, who also doubles as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees-APC Arewa Community, Lagos State Chapter, Alhaji Muhammad Dandamma Yabo, has pledged his full support for the second term bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027.
He made this revelation in an exclusive interview with Khal-El Communications in Lagos recently.
According to him, he has shown his level of support for the ruling party-the All Progressives Congress (APC) through rallies and ensuring that his people registered on the APC platform.
While advising Nigerians to come out en mass and vote for Mr. President in the upcoming elections, he reiterated that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu deserves a second term in office.
Similarly, Yabo lauded the giant strides taken by the Lagos State Government to improve the quality of life for people in the state.
The soft spoken gentleman praised Governor Sanwo-Olu for his astute leadership and delivery of projects, which have impacted diverse communities across the state positively.
He went further to pour encomium on Mr. Governor for his sterling leadership style, while noting that the Arewa Community in Lagos has benefited from the administration’s policies, programmes and initiatives.
“The government has tried,” he said, adding that projects executed by this administration have brought meaningful change to various cultural communities, including his own Arewa Community.
In his capacity to bring sanity at the Shukuram Yam Sellers Market at Mile 12, Alhaji Yabo stated that everyone is treated equally not minding the tongue, tribe or religion.
According to him, the association is not discriminatory but inclusive, while noting that membership cuts across all tribes.
He added that his chairmanship is rotational, which means that the next chairman could emerge from any ethnic group.
Alhaji Yabo also gave the assurance that he would do everything within his capacity to make availability of yam for customers at all times.
He also noted that security concerns within this largest depot of Yam Market in Nigeria, are sacrosanct.
