Rite Foods has reaffirmed commitment to ensuring food security as it begins with responsible and sustainable production.

This was revealed by Mr Ekuma Eze, Head, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, The company’s state-of-the-art, fully automated factory operates on 92% natural gas and 8% shared between solar energy and diesel hybrid energy systems, a conscious shift toward cleaner, more efficient energy use.

He said, this innovation significantly reduces the company’s carbon footprint while improving operational efficiency and product safety, reinforcing its long-term vision for sustainable nourishment.

 

Beyond its production and product innovation, Rite Foods continues to drive environmental initiatives that protect ecosystems and food sources. Its flagship campaign, “Rite on the Beach,” promotes large-scale coastal cleanup activities to combat plastic and waste pollution along Nigeria’s shorelines.
