Ogunlewe’s Appreciation Tour In Mende, Others

In line with the responsive governance approach of The Kosofe Local Government Administration and its dedication to improving residents’ quality of life through strategic infrastructural development, The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area, Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe has extended his appreciation tour to Mende ward on Thursday 28 August, 2025.

In his remarks, he reiterated his commitment to personally thanking stakeholders across all wards for their electoral support.

The meeting attracted significant attendance from diverse community representatives, including CDAs, party leaders, community elders, traditional chiefs, trade and artisan associations, market women, youth organisations, road transport unions, and other essential stakeholders.

Addressing the enthusiastic gathering, the Executive Chairman reiterated his gratitude for their support during the recent local government elections whilst encouraging continued participation in the ongoing voters registration exercise.

Responding to residents’ pressing concerns about flooding challenges, Barr. Ogunlewe pledged to prioritise drainage infrastructure projects for flood-prone communities within the ward and the reconstruction of Ajose Street, while demonstrating his administration’s commitment to addressing environmental vulnerabilities.

Earlier, The Executive Chairman on Wednesday, took his appreciation tour to Araromi/Gbagada/Ifako Soluyi wards, in order to express his gratitude for their support during the recent local government elections.

The meeting recorded exceptional attendance from diverse community representatives, including CDAs, party leaders, community elders, traditional chiefs, trade and artisan associations, market women, youth organisations, road transport unions, non-Indigene groups and other vital stakeholders in the area.

While addressing them, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe reiterated that the essence of the visit was to acknowledge their electoral support,  whilst encouraging residents to mobilise neighbours for the ongoing voter’s registration exercise.

Responding to residents’ concerns, The Chairman promised to address the road infrastructure challenges faced in Ajayi Aina and Williams Streets.
