This is sequel to their just concluded promotion, in line with IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu’s welfare-focused leadership.

The exercise took place at the Command’s headquarters and other formations across the state.

Consequently, 6 Sergeants were elevated to become Inspectors, 4 officers became Sergeants from Corporals and 420 Constables became Corporals.

CP Bode Ojajuni  who spoke at the ceremony said, that the promotions reflected  the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to recognizing diligence, professionalism, and dedication to duty.

Ojajuni noted that, “timely promotion is key to boosting morale and encouraging officers to remain committed to their constitutional duties”.

While he congratulated the newly promoted police personnel, he urged them to see their elevation as a call to greater responsibility, discipline and renewed dedication to service.

He also charged them to uphold the Force’s core values, respect human rights and operate strictly within the rule of law.

The Commissioner also gave the assurance that the Command will continue to prioritize officers’ welfare and support initiatives that will strengthen institutional capacity and operational effectiveness.

He said the goal is to promote excellence in service delivery and align policing in Ogun State with global best practices, while ensuring personnel are motivated to deliver on the Force’s mandate.
