In an unprecedented act of interfaith harmony, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, the spiritual leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has made headlines—not for his well-known prophetic revelations—but for a powerful gesture that bridges religious divides: he is building a mosque.

While known for his fiery prophecies and the annual release of his globally anticipated book, Warnings To The Nations, now in its 31st edition, Primate Ayodele has shifted the conversation from prediction to peace-building. His decision to fund and build a mosque, a sacred structure central to Islamic worship—has stunned many and inspired more.

More Than a Structure: A Statement of Unity

In Islam, building a masjid (mosque) is regarded as Sadaqah Jariyah, or ongoing charity. It is one of the most spiritually rewarding deeds a Muslim or anyone can do. According to Islamic tradition, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:

“Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

So why would a Christian prophet, one who has led a Pentecostal congregation since 1994, build a mosque?

Primate Ayodele offers a deeply human answer:

“Jesus Christ didn’t preach religion, He preached love. Being a religious fanatic will not take anyone to heaven, but love and contribution to humanity will.”

No Borders in Heaven

Primate Ayodele challenges one of the most entrenched global divisions: religious identity. He believes:

There is no Christian or Muslim heaven, only humanity.

Religion, while intended to guide, has instead divided mankind.

The teachings of Jesus emphasize love, inclusion, and service, not dogma or exclusion.

By choosing to onstruct a mosque, he embodies this philosophy in action, not just words. Once completed, he vows:

“I will hand the mosque over to Muslim leaders and have no interference in its running.”

A Call for Coexistence, Not Conversion

This move isn’t about syncretism or blending faiths, it’s about respect and coexistence. Ayodele remains firm in his Christian faith, but views his role as one that transcends religious boundaries.

He consulted with Muslim leaders before the project, all of whom welcomed the initiative. His vision aligns with a higher, inclusive calling that prioritizes peace, collaboration, and the shared values of humanity.

Prophet, Philanthropist, Peacemaker

From authoring global prophecies to empowering youth and now building sacred spaces for other faiths, Primate Ayodele is reimagining what it means to be a spiritual leader in a divided world.

He may be a prophet by calling, but by action, he’s becoming a bridge-builder between faiths, a role the world desperately needs today.

Final Thought

In a time where religion is often weaponized, Primate Elijah Ayodele’s mosque is more than bricks and mortar, it’s a symbol of courage, compassion, and a radical return to the core message shared by all great faiths: Love one another.
