Lagos was at a standstill on the 7th of December, 2025 as Dr. Ajoke Ogunsan with other gospel artistes brought down heavenly blessings upon the good people of Lagos at her Symphony of Praise and Worship (SPAW) Concert; in commemoration of her birthday.
The concert which was held at The Lagos Continental Hotel in Victoria Island was attended by gospel music enthusiasts from different walks of life.
The evening began with the registration of invited guests to the concert, with different groups taking memorabilia of the event.
Dr. Ajoke Ogunsan was later ushered to the stage by the duo of Babajide Guerrero and Mary Damilola Ayuba (MCs), after the earlier performance of some ministers.
While on stage, Dr. AjokeSings expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life.
She was particularly grateful for The Joy of The Lord Jesus Christ, in spite of all the challenges that Nigeria has endured in the past few years.
In her words: “Today is a time of joy, a time of happiness, a time to rejoice and be glad. Whatever the situation in the country, we must continue to give thanks”, she said
Dr. Ajoke who thanked the invited guests for their support especially The Governor of Lagos State- Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his wife Dr. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu for finding time out of their tight schedule to grace the occasion; expressed hope that the event will bring testimonies and miracles for many people.
Consequently, She advised the distinguished guests to glorify The Lord in their lives as she performed such songs as : “Osubare, All Creation, Eledumare, Great and Mighty, Oba Nla, Lifted and Jesus Wept” on the stage.
Other artistes that performed were: Bata Girl, Limoblaze, Pelumi Deborah, AEO, BeeJay Sax, Eno Michael, Emma OMG, Lilian Nneji and Hope Activate.
Symphony of Praise and Worship (SPAW) 1.0 which is sequel to the SPAW Talent Hunt was the first edition in the series.
