The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has blacklisted popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, K-1, for six months for his unruly behavior at the domestic terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
Recall that the celebrity stood in front of ValueJet aircraft on Monday to prevent it from taking off. This was after he was prevented from boarding the aircraft because he had in his possession substance suspected to be alcohol.
The consequence of the suspension is that the popular musician will not be able to fly from any airport within the country, whether locally or internationally for the next six months.
The Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection of NCAA, Michael Achimugu, said this during a press briefing on Thursday. The NCAA had earlier on Wednesday suspended the licences of two pilots of Value Jet over the same incident.
